Fatmawati Tahir Master Stylist, Educator, and Founder of Salwa Salon

With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, Fatmawati Tahir is both a dedicated practitioner and a passionate educator.

Her journey began by honing her craft at Indonesia’s most prestigious hairdressing academy, the RUDY HADISUWARNO School of Hairdressing, where she successfully completed both Level I and Level II courses. Her expertise was nationally certified upon passing the Basic and Skilled Level National Hairdressing Examinations, administered by the Indonesian Ministry of National Education.

Before establishing Salwa Salon in Makassar, Fatmawati sharpened her skills in the heart of Jakarta’s beauty industry. She built her career as an Assistant Stylist at the renowned Salon Leo Steven (J’LO) and was entrusted as a full-time Stylist at Mousche Salon in the upscale Kelapa Gading district.

The pinnacle of her career in the nation’s capital was her 6-year tenure (2004-2010) as a National Educator (Trainer) for PT. MAKARIZO INDONESIA, a major professional hair care brand. In this role, she not only worked with top-tier products but also educated and trained professional hairstylists across Indonesia.
